At North Church we refer to Sunday worship and study as the "Best Two Hours of the Week". After worship we have studies for all ages. There are classes for adults, teens, and children. With our fellowship and study, we usually serve some drinks and snacks. We really enjoy our study time and would love for you to join us!
Special Emphasis
Every Sunday this class meets to study around scheduled topics. Currently we are discussing the role of Prayer in our lives. We are exploring such questions as "how should we pray?" and "what should we expect from prayer?".
Come follow me
Scheduled as needed... This class is for those interested in exploring what it means to fulfill your calling as a follower of Jesus Christ at North Prebyterian Church.
Our youth are also disussing prayer. They are taking a close look at the "Lord's Prayer". They are coming to then end of looking at what Jesus really meant when he taught us to his disciples to pray. What exactly did he mean by "your will be done"? The teens are also challenged to application of prayer. They are holding each other accountable to regular prayer each.
The children's group are working through a year long curriculum about Calleed
The Bible encourages us to fellowship, study, and worship together. Many members of North also participate in "small group studies" which take place both at Church and in the homes of members. Contact the pastor if you would be interested in joining or starting a small group. Currently, there are groups that meet on Monday, Thursday, and Friday evenings and Saturday Mornings. These groups are using a new "Connections" study based on the book of Acts.
Study 1Peter
One of our small groups is working through Kay Arthur's Precepts study of 1 Peter. They are meeting at Jim and Carol Murphy's house. For more information or directions call them at 513 541-6594.
