Sesquicentennial Celebration

October of 2005 marked the 150th anniversary of North church. We celebrated with a year full of events. We had lots of fun. Many pictures have been taken at these events. Links in each section below will bring up a new window to view the pictures. Those pages may load slowly, but the pictures are worth it! As we go forward we look forward to renewing our dedication to living as a "Kingdom people".

Celebration Events/Activities

Photo Directory and History

Some very wonderful members dedicated many hours putting together a photo directory of our congregation members. Much like a yearbook the directory, included many pictures and a written history of North Church. We owe a big thanks to each one for all of their hard work! Click here to read the history of North

2005 Fourth of July Parade

North church members participated in the Northside community 4th of July parade. We had one of the best floats in the parade. Participants wore shirts that had our anniversary logo. It was a hot but exciting day! Click here for pictures of the event!

Church Picnic

The 2005 picnic was held at Winton woods. The weather was fine as was the company. We enjoyed tasty picnic fare, and played volleyball, cornhole, and a water balloon toss. The kids had a great time hiking in the woods as well. Click here for pictures of the event!

Community Fest

On September 10th, North hosted a community festival in our parking lot. We served free hot dogs and drinks. Game booths were set up with free games for kids. Several bands played, including our own praise band, Spirit Rising! Churches Active In Northside (CAIN) had a booth set up. We were even joined by a local fire crew so kids could check out the truck. Cincinnati police stopped by with a K-9 unit and an officer on horseback. Fun was had by all! Click here for picutres of the event!

Anniversary Worship/Cross dedication Service

Sunday the 16th of October was a very special worship service in honor of the anniversary of North Church. We dedicated a new cross that hangs in the front of the Sanctuary. The cross was made by several members. Again, we owe these folks a big THANKS! Click here to see the cross and the members who made it.
