Three frogs were sitting on a twig. One of them decided to hop off. How many frogs were left?
Three frogs were left. One of them decided to hop off, but he never actually did it.
For the 2011-2012 year of our Discovery Hour (adult Sunday School), we're looking at ourselves individually and as a church family to see if we're ever like that frog. That is, we're exploring whether there are sectors of our spiritual development where we've decided what we should do, but we've never actualy done it.
Our theme for the year is What Are We Missing? and we're exploring this theme through lessons, music, videos, and group discussions centering on six interrelated focus areas: Faith, Prayer, Obedience, Confession, Consecration, and Passion.
Typically, at least half of the people in church stay for our Discovery Hour. That might have something to do with the coffee and treats. And all the joking around.
