Sermon series

Epiphany 2010
We’re used to hearing Jesus described as “humble,” “patient,” “kind,” “truthful.” Those one-word characterizations are enough. But they don’t account for attractiveness of his person or the power of his call upon our lives. We usually don't follow someone because of a list of attributes. Fortunately, that’s not how the gospel writers present Jesus. Instead, we’re given a rich and lively portrayal of a real person who stirs our hearts and hopes into action. Jesus still calls us to follow him. The whole Christian life is summed up by that compelling invitation and our response to it. During this Epiphany season of “illumination,” we’ll shine fresh light on some of the qualities of the one who calls us, to reignite our passion to follow him.

Chancel Choir

Music is a vital part of our worship experience. Raising a voice in song is a blessing to all who hear it. Why not consider singing God's praises with the NPC Chancel Choir? We seek to increase our numbers and improve our skills by meeting you in Sunday morning worship and Wednesday evening rehearsals, gatherings filled with fun, laughter, and learning. If you are not sure that choir is right for you, ask Chris Wallhausser or a current choir member what the program is like. We all pitch in to encourage one another and sing joyfully. So come, join in the joyful song!

Spirit Rising

One sunday a month our worship music is led by our praise ensemble, Spirit Rising. Come share a lively morning of worship with us. Check with the church office for schedules.
