Our Teen Discovery Hour (Sunday School) takes place after church every Sunday morning at 11:30 while the adults are in their own Discovery Hour class across the hall. There are snacks. There’s time to get caught up on each others' lives. And there’s time for some directed discussion about “How do we do this Christian thing anyway?" Teen Impact Northside Teen Impact is for teenagers who are trying to live like Jesus in the real world. This program is all about being real and honest about trying to follow Jesus. Teens who attend Teen Impact Northside are not all from North Church, and some are not church-goers at all, but they are all taking a honest look at what it means to follow Jesus. The group meets at the church each Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for dinner, discussion, and usually a video clip or two. All are welcome. Right now, the group is delving into a Bible study for teens called "Generation Change," which is about money. Some teens will have to deal with sex. And some teens will have to deal with drugs. But all teens will have to deal with money.
Whiz Kids
Whiz Kids is an after-school tutoring program for second, third, fourth, and fifth graders who are attending Chase Elementary School in Northside. Parents who would like their children to participate in or just find out more about Whiz Kids can click on the Whiz Kids logo to the right, or ask the teachers at Chase School.
